What are they thinking

Calhau Rolado newly reopened by an english couple that liked what the saw and bought it. Firstly, why do people with no or little experience think running a bar restuarant is easy. They seem to have no experience as "what glass do i put the wine" in quote from when we went in. I just dont get it the 'eclectic decor' as one web site puts it. It looks like Steptoes front room a collection with no theme fishing african I suppose. The tables look good but with the walls decked out makes the place look like a jumble sale. I will hold judgement on the food as it was only open as a bar the night we visted. Now the main problem if you dont have the location and people have to find you you need big personalities and a friendly manner. The new people are now in competition with the hideaway for the most boring owners. I know I have hit hard here and they might impove..but watch this space. Square pegs for round holes.
