World domination takes a dive

Luissol bar see end of post

Well not actually world domination but the plans of Fools and Horses expansion and domination of the street. Former Plum bar was taken over by the Fools crowd. Those that dont know the history of these places. Here is a quick recap now th ex Pat english dominated Fools has been around since 1979 along came Plum and opened and dance bar next door, within a year plum changed and became more of a sports music venue. Again it changed to a mexican lead restuarant and then not a year past until it became Plum Sports. The two owners of each bar also becmae partners in another venture but that went down after a year or so. Then they had the battle of the wall (who had the right to put a table there!). The did not speak until the Fools owner made an offer to plum and it became Vagabundos.

Plum was never really that busy under any theme so Fools thought paint the walls yellow but in a DJ and the customers would flock, well no. Its only open weekends and have been doing salsa night (lots of dancing not much drinking). Its going to interesting to see what happens next.

A good piece of news Denise and Andy are staying in lagos for the winter so Whytes will be open at weekends.

and yes Vaca are still selling chicken breast with curry sauce as the daily special

another bar not mentioned is gay friendly Luissol a hidden gem but you only get in if they open the gate. For a relaxing and very quiet drink. But dont mention the owner looked like 70s singing star Leo Sayer
