2009 Develpoment and News

The leader of theSocialist Party of Lagos, in his traditional New Year's message, had said thatear 2009 wiil be the year of major public works in which he hopes will lead to wealth in the county, create employment in the local market. The new car parks of the Avenue of Discovery Park and the City, incresing number in the PSP, the upgrading of urban streets and the upgrading of the school district of Workers, All this whilst not increasing taxes

He was also keen to say that hoping to solve the problems of car parking and doing his best for the employers and citizens of Lagos and at the same time, create the basis for the Ring Green City, valuing the Walls and renewing the city with a sense the future '.

I like what I see from the new plans although a lot of people are against them as its ruining a lovely algarvian city. These people are stuck in the past and not in tune with the locals need to increase trademin hard times. I see it has helping the city for the future and still keeping the history of the place in tact. The gardens around the walls would not have happened without the new developments
